Witech Micropod II Overview

The wiTECH Micropod II is the newest Chrysler dealer level diagnostic tool that replaces the existing wiTECH VCI POD and Chrysler Star-Mobile tool.  It does the same functions as StarMobile device and wiTECH POD, but it supports more protocols including CAN 3 and LAN DoIP. This original Mopar secure Micropod II is manufactured in the USA by Bright Star Engineering. For Diagnostic it needs wiTECH 2 Subscription and new model cars need Techauthority Subscription. For ECU reprogramming you can use TechAuthority subscription [ www.techauthority.com ]

Micro POD 2 works with the wiTECH software on all CAN vehicles - Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep.  The Micropod II connects to a laptop using the provided USB cable or if you want to connect wirelessly, use optional wiTECH access point *

If you have a handheld DRB III scan tool, you must have this Micropod for newer CAN vehicles. You can use Chrysler DRB 3 for none CAN vehicles. The DRB 3 can reflash ECU  with TechTool from TechAuthority subscription.

This Chrysler package comes with an optional Panasonic Toughbook CF-53 or Dell Latitude Rugged R5414 computer
