Flash programming using wiTECH 2.0 software, connect the Micropod II interface to OBD II / DLC port in the car. wiTECH 2 will start to identify the vehicle based on VIN and the installed components in the vehicle network, which will bring up the network topology.
In this document, we will explain how to do flash programming using wiTECH 2. Once your vehicle's all set up to flash, don't forget to connect the external battery maintainer. For this test, we have in our programming bay a 2018 Dodge RAM 1500 PICKUP 5.7L HEMI.
Once the Micropod II identified in wiTECH 2 click anywhere in the gray box area, it'll bring up the network topology. Click on the tab "All Flashes" at the top bring up the only flash that's available for this car. Right side there's an arrow select that, and it'll bring you to the module flashing screen, where you'll want to click on the consent checkbox. Selecting that you understand that you're flashing will ask you to select a category of why this particular vehicle needs to flash, I choose Service Information/documentation led to re-flash the component. This car has a check engine light that meets a flash so we'll type in the box flash for drivability issue as per Technical Service Bulletin TSB, and you'll click Flash ECU button.
You will need to login to Techauthority for aftermarket or if you have wiTECH 2 account from FCA dealer, use your DealerConnect account and then the flash process starts.
Next screen will show initialing and finalizing the flash process this will take a few minutes and it says complete and gives old and new calibration numbers, now click on View DTC's click clear what DTC to clear after every module flash.
If we go back over the topology seeing no codes no flash lightning bolt
says it's up to date gives our calibration part number shows our TSB's.
That is a document for the flash, but now it's complete.
After the PCM reflash go to the Restore Vehicle configuration do a restore, this will finalize the flash process on a Chrysler wiTECH 2.0

How to program a Nissan CVT Transmission? With the new transmission you received, there will be a CD included, keep that CD, that's the CD we are going to use in the programming stage. It has the IP Characteristics data file. TCM performs accurate gear ratio control by retrieving and storing data (characteristic value). TCM records the degradation level calculated from the vehicle driving status; it is necessary to erase the degradation level data recorded by the TCM.
